Day 1: – Marrakech – Dades

Meet your driver in your hotel and start the adventure towards the south of Morocco crossing the High Atlas mountains via theTizi Tichka pass, the highest mountain passage in Morocco. The lunch will be in Ait ben haddou a UNESCO World Heritage site, which boasts great examples of Kasbahs,. This incredible ancient fortified Kasbah was built for defense and protection purposes high on a hill. It is also a stunningly well preserved medieval city which has famously featured in many blockbuster movies, including Gladiator and Laurence of Arabia as its beauty is unequal to any other fortified kasbah in south Morocco. Carrying on we continue south through the valley of roses to reach our final destination Dades.
 

Day 2: – Dades – Merzouga

Included activities: camel ride to the camp
Overnight: berber tent

The Departure will be straight after breakfast to see Todra gorges. This 1000ft gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is affectionately known as Morocco’s Grand Canyon. We’ll visit a favorite Berber co-operative where you can see and buy authentic, Berber handmade rugs. We continue our way to Tinjdad, if we have time, to visit a Berber museum in a roofed-over village inhabited by a community of Berbers it will be, as well as, an opportunity to know more about the Berbers and their culture. On arriving at Sahara we will have to ride our camels to get to the camp, in the middle of the sand dunes we stop to enjoy climbing to the top of them and get the most beautiful view of the sunset with an amazing color of the sun mixt with the brown of the sand. Dinner will be served in your camp before the drummers start the music around the fire. counting the stars is the last part of this night before we go in a deep sleep. Obviously, this night must be the highlight of the trip.
 

Day 3: – Merzouga– Ouarzazate

Included activities: camel ride or 4X4 drive back from the tent
Overnight: Ouarazat

We wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the best moment of Merzouga desert, after breakfast you will decide either to ride a camel back to your hotel or if you prefer to be picked up by 4X4 car and start our new day.

Driving to Ouarzazt via Tazarine and Nqub which is our spot for lunch and rest before we continue our drive through Draa valley, the longest valley in Morocco famous for Being Moroccan Dates Basket, Locals grow more than 11 type of dates, enjoy this mystical landscapes along the Caravan formal route.
 

Day 4 : – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Ouarzazate is known as Hollywood of Africa, calm town, the gate to the desert, the is a city situated in the south of the High Atlas Mountains. It is mainly inhabited by Berbers, and has been noted as a film-making location, with Morocco’s biggest studios inviting many international film companies to shoot their movies like: Lawrence of Arabia, The Living Daylights, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven. For those who are interesting in movies this is your chance to visit this studio and take pictures with all the fake building and decoration inside. After lunch we drive back to Marrakech and drop you in your accommodation.
